Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro
Redmi buds 3 Pro are Xiaomi’s answers to those who are interested in premium true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation but can’t quite afford the best buds that Samsung and Apple have to offer.
Redmi Buds 3 Pro pack a hell of a lot of punch at a very reasonable price tag and yes of course the buds 3 Pro can indeed be used with other smartphones they can actually be used with two smartphones at one time or one smartphone and a laptop or a T.V as well.
We eventually get inside the box we can see the glacier gray variant of the buds 3 Pro which we’ll get to in a minute another content of the box which includes some leaflets which we obviously don’t care much about and of course we do indeed get some buds inside the box for different ear sizes something that you usually, you do get a USB type a to type c charging cable within the box.
We have that USB type-c port at the bottom which means that yes we can charge it wired using any block of your choice it seems to be capped at 2.5 watts however and charging time takes around 2.5 hours.
The Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro also supports wireless charging which means if you have a smartphone device that supports reverse wireless charging you can just pop it on the back of that device however you can use any other qi wireless charging pad that you may come across in your household.
The Xiaomi Bud 3 Pro charging cradle sports a 470 milliamp-hour battery case and we do have 35 milliamp hour batteries within each individual but when it comes to battery life on a single charge for both earbuds obviously at 35 milliamps can go all the way up to 6 hours which is actually better than most premium flagship earbuds.
and of course, we also have a higher battery life with the included case of up to 28 hours but the star of the show here is the 10-minute charge up within the case to get 3 hours of usage.
Even the most expensive earbuds around have to charge for 30 minutes or more to get the same three hours of usage the charging cradle itself is not the smallest around but still relatively small at 65 millimeters tall and 48 millimeters wide.
And yes they do come with water resistance but unfortunately only ipx8 for water resistance meaning it is only resistant to splashes.
The Xiaomi Bud 3 Pro are relatively small they certainly fit in my ears I don’t have the largest I don’t have the smallest pretty much average ears and if you do take the galaxy buds pro into accounts they are pretty much neck and neck in terms of size and weight.
When they are sitting in my ears and they are sticking in there quite well-meaning that you can jam to your tunes hassle-free of them falling to their death.
Each bud uses magnetic pins in order to charge within the cradle and the cradle itself has a magnetic lid and all of which are relatively soft.
bring in your Xiaomi device or android device or any ios device for that matter tap on the button on the front and it’s a quick pair in the Bluetooth settings options in order to get things going.
And yes we can pair two devices at once I have my Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra on the right and me 11 Ultra on the left both paired to the Redmi Bud 3 Pro at the same time.
We do have transparency and noise cancellation modes over here though you can only use them when the buds are actually in your ears of course that kind of makes sense.
When it comes to transparency mode we have an enhanced and a balanced mode enhanced so that you can hear all of your surroundings around you and balance so that you can only hear certain things such as voices.
Then we have active noise cancellation we have a couple of different modes we have adaptive which automatically changes based on the environment that you’re in.
We also have a light mode which is for when you’re just taking a stroll in the park balance mode for when things get a bit noisy in the office and deep mode for when things are extremely noisy such as in a subway station.
We also have dual microphones over here to deduct 35 decibels of sound which is impressive, to say the least within the app itself.
We also have a couple of other features such as allowing it to use phone calls media audio and of course in-ear detection which is great you can even answer calls automatically through your buds.
As soon as you get a call on your phone they automatically get answered through your buds and of course, we have nifty little notification shade widgets.
The audio quality is superb the buds 3 Pro do get extremely loud not the loudest I’ve heard but still right up there with the best of the best in terms of loudness and you’ll be happy to hear that they do not distort when going to the max volume.
We do also have touch gestures in order to use different things such as playing and pausing going to the next song or enabling active noise cancellation or transparency mode.
They have of course wireless charging fast wired charging 10 minutes 3-hour wattage charging 6 hours battery life out the case 28 hours in the case active noise cancellation transparency mode they fit in pretty much all.
They have a nice soft touch and of course, they also have touch gestures on the sides they are half the price of what other competitors are asking for the same features packed into such a small tiny little case which makes me happy to say I can definitely recommend these earbuds.
Now let’s compare Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro vs JBL Wave 100 Comparision.
OnePlus Buds Z
OnePlus Buds are the first TWS earbuds offered by Oneplus, as the brand is renowned for its quality products, so here we are seeing some of the basic specifications about the OnePlus Buds.
Recently released one plus buds now these little headphones are important because they’re OnePlus the first attempt at truly wireless earbuds.
OnePlus actually seemed like they really want to get their foot and put a stamp into this true wireless earbuds ring, with the new OnePlus Buds Z which looks very similar to another brand you may know, so color-wise y’all they’re gonna be coming in three different colors like White, Gray and then there’s this new custom Stephen Harrington edition.
Now the hinge itself is also really solid and it also has that super satisfying snap whenever you close it.
OnePlus has placed a 10-millimeter dynamic driver so that way is going to give you guys a decent amount of bass that I personally like now they also have added bass boost technology in these as well so I’m actually looking forward to that and hopefully it’s going to sound good enough as compared to others.
let’s go ahead and talk about battery life here for a second now OnePlus is claiming 20 hours of music playback total with using the case in order to recharge now they made it sound like on stage that it was basically like you’re getting 20 hours in a single charge.
NO, you’re getting about five hours on a single charge with the buzz themselves, and then with the case, you get an additional 15 hours combining them together giving you 20 plus hours of music playback so depending on how you guys use them.
So yeah pretty solid the buds themselves feel pretty rigid now there is a stem and the stem leads up to the audio driver and the audio driver then leads into the earpiece the buds themselves are one piece and they’re made out of plastic which means they’re going to have the one size fits all type of fit in your ear.
So for some people, they’ll probably fit you really great and for other people, they’ll probably tip out of your ear or fall out of your ear if you tip your head in one direction now another thing to keep in mind is the buds Z themselves are ipx4 rated.
Pairing is also super simple and the buds Z utilize Bluetooth 5.0 so to pair them with my OnePlus 8 pro all I had to do was open the case push and hold the pairing button on the back and wait until the Led light on the front started flashing white and then shortly after I received a notification on my OnePlus 8 Pro that the buds were ready to pair.
The built quality is good plus it also comes with small and compact charging, it is sweatproof as well, and extremely lightweight.
